option is the mk8 w/ foglights. i saw a 97-98 lcs mk8 the other nit in north richland hills sat. w/ fog lights. i know i have heard of the mk's coming factory w/ them. but anyone have a clue . look ook but only saw it from the side

I personally never heard of a Mark with factory fog lights to be honest. I think its just an aftermarket installation...I could be wrong though. Did the Mark look good in them?

Im not a fan of any sort of foglight that isnt stock or look like is factory installation. They just dont seem to ever look the same.

On topic: I havent seen/heard of factory foglights for the mark either.

the MarkVIII never came with stock fog lights. However, the MarkVII was available with foglights but only the LSC.

the foglights look good mounted behind the grill..
otherwise, I think they look very poor just hanging bellow the bumper.

Hidden behind the grill is the only place Id think about mounting them, but still, I dont think I would go out of my way.

No Mark VIII came "from the factory" with fog lights. Many owners of gen 1's have added them to improve visibility at night due to the faulty stock headlights.

if it was a Black gen 2, it may have been this car(custom lower bumper valance off a Pontiac)

personally, I dont think the Gen 2's need additional lighting. I would have LOVED to see that lower front bumper on a gen 1, where it is needed!

The lower bumper is off a Pontiac...the owner is a body man, and melded it in to the stock Mark VIII bumper.

That actually doesn't look too bad, but it makes it look like a Marauder to me.

it was kinda like the ones that came on the mk7's hanging from the bumper

Wow, personally I think that that front bumper looks amazing! I would like to see it with the more muscular lines of the gen1 though.

The guy's got talent, no doubt! I also like how he blacked out the side window chrome. Suddle touch that gives it the sinister look...

Jibit...I'm with you on this one..I was thinking Marauder as well. The car overall looks pretty sweet...at first I was a bit wary but then it sunk in. Looks great.

Yea, Hes on Viii.org.

I like the looks of it myself. Now, i just need to get ahold of the body kit JBit has on his 2nd gen. :D
