What's going on in Venezuela?

I caught the very end of the news last night where Hugo Chavez threatened to cut oil to the US and Bush said (without using names) that he would secure America's oil interest (or something along those lines, I was half asleep). Anyone know what's going on over there or if military action will be needed?
