Please share and give some LVC.com guest's something to read. It is always fun to have a good time with our cars. We are a car site. What would we be without some racing stories? So, let the Hot Rod readers read something good!
My favorite race, well actully it was a night. I was test driving Sifrino after I believe, an xhaust system was put on. I cought a group and it had a Honda Vtec 2-door. It sounded very good. It had to have something done to the engine. Also, in the pack was a light blue old school pick-up. (50-70') Chevy I believe.
I also, seen this guy around and have been wanting to run him for sometime. Since he like's to show that he's fast. As I was watching them race. The Chevy truck seemed to get him and hold him off strong. So, I end up getting next to the Honda first. (I must have to start at the bottom!) Well, off the line his bumber was at my door. (Bcoz he rolled through red light as it was turning green) But Sifrino switched to second I was gone. Just put a bus length on him in a short time.
I then get next to the blue truck. The one I have been wanting to run! Since I have seen him race the Honda and I just got done racing the Honda. I knew I could take the blue truck. At the light he let me know that we were going. By giving a few rev's. Light turn's green. He puts down some rubber and is staying with me the whole time up until I get half way through second gear. I am pulling on him. I put him back to my rear bumper. Then having to nail the brakes. Bcoz a Police car is coming around the corner.
All in all, they were good races. I know the first one was a Honda. It wasn't a riced out one. Very little decal on the trunk lid that said, VTEC. I do not support street raicing. Unless it is done in the correct manor. People's safty should always come first. . .
