Hello,

I am thinking about sinking some money into my 98 LSC and keeping it rather than buying a newer car. The issue mostly is, I can't find a car that we like as well as the Mark. Having said that, I need some help.

One of the issues with the car is the Chrome Wheels, as many of you may know, these are crap and not only do they peel but will not hold air very well. I would like to get a nice set of wheels, but don't want to spend a fortune, as I know you can. Anyone have any ideas on what looks nice and where to find wheels at a reasonable price.

I would also like to have the windows smoked, I think this would really enhance the look of the car. I don't know much about it, what is the best way to proceed? Are there processes to stay away from? Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks
Barry

He was just joking... "duece duece's" are 22 inch rims. A lot of people buy 17 inch Cobra R rims and they look killer. As for other choices, search around on the internet and see if you find anything you like.

Check out the rims in my signature pic, they're 17" AT Italia Inox's... Stainless steel face with black accent, easy as hell to clean and shine like no other when they're clean. Roughly $1700 to my doorstep with tires mounted and balanced. A little more than what some people want to pay, but I fell in love with them.

If they look bad, you could paint the rims black and leave the hub-cap . The guy who lives down the street did that with his TAURUS and it look good.

Thank you all for your responses. I really want to stay with the 16", for a couple of reasons, one is that I have very new tires, if they needed replacement, I might upsize.

One other person that has them on a Dodge truck loves the aluminum wheels, most of what I am seeing are either painted, which I don't really care for or Chrome. I like the look of the Chrome but haven't had very good luck with them in the past. They peel and the Lincoln ones are the worst, they leak like a White House aid.

I suspect for what I want to spend, about $1000, I am not going to get what I want, but I will continue to look.

Please make specific recommendations, if you have one.

Thanks
Barry

Hey Geno, what kinda of good price are you talkin? Im lookin for some rims for this spring.

if you want to keep 16" try t-bird sport rims(also the same as super coupe) thats what i got i think they look good for the price (mine were free)

I didn't want to change the size of the wheel, but I must say, those look rather nice.

Thanks
