I'm trying to remove the front emblem. Last time I tried this, I melted the emblem. Should I heat the front or heat the back of the emblem? Also, last time, I used a heat gun...should I instead use a blow dryer? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Just heat it up with a hair dryer, then use high strength fishing line to run behind and remove emblem.

ok, you halfway answered the question. :D

should I eat it from the front? And on what degree? low, med, high? Thanks again.

I dont think its gonna matter which side but i'd go with the front. The back is a little thick to have the heat penetrate thru, plus its held on by adhesive that isnt going to respond all that much to heat. When i got my McLaren(spelling?) grill i just heated up the front till it was hot to the touch then pryed the edge with a small screwdriver and slid the fishing line behind. If you melted one then its waaay to much heat.
