if you are talking about the hole behind the handle, then it is not very big and there is no indention. two small holes. it is cut flush. all flat

how big are the holes, I ordered my 4 door spal popper and solonoid kit and want to know what to expect once I pull the handles off. Anyone know what it looks like witht he handle off ? Can't be as bad as my ranger was, HUGE recess, and in the middle of the body line, shaving those was a nightmare but I did it. Thanks guys.

SWEEET thats what I was hoping to hear, alot of masking, some VERY simple welding and light grinding, little heat, little light smear of bondo, some block sanding, and very light painting. Thanks

yep yep.. pretty small.. handle comes right off.. should be an easy install as far as smoothing out the handles..

Im looking to do the same. So if you take off the handles there are only two small holes you would have to fill. Would you need to weld or could you just put some bondo or whatever on it.

you need to weld, bondo isnt to be used for filling something like that, in a short amouint of time, moisture will get to it from behind the hole and it will crack/fall apart

u need to weld 3 peices, sand it, then bondo and sand it.. then paint i believe.. let me know if its a hard install.. i took out my handles before and that was easy... r the pop locks easy to install?
