Where does this wire go? 2000 Town Car

Hi everyone,

New guy here

I just got this 2000 Town Car and while I was replacing the spark plugs I found a wire tucked in under the passenger side fuel rail. Any ideas where this is supposed to go?

Here's a couple pics. First one shows the plug itself and the second one shows where it comes out of the harness below the tranny dipstick. The wire is black. I zip tied it out of the way until I can figure out where it belongs.

It slides onto the tall bolt that holds the rear of the fuel rail in place. It is grounded to it.
