Hey everyone! I have just recently got a 1995 mark viii. It has clogged cat(s). I know there are three cats but im unsure of which one is clogged. Is there any way to check without cutting it off? Also i know that the drivers side cat is attached to the manifold. How would u go about replacing that cat if it were clogged? I am wanting to replace the third cat with an x pipe. So i am wondering which high flow cats work best with the mark viii. Or what are yalls thoughts on wut i should

Replace the down stream cat and resonator with the X-Pipe. Gut the upstream cats. Replace the up stream O2 sensors upstream as they are probably junk, get the MIL eliminators for the second cat O2 sensors, and have the car re-tuned to to eliminate the CEL and also the function of the EGR. Just my $.02

Why buy MIL elims when those can just be shut off in tune?
