i'm getting a couple of idler pulley's from rock auto and i wanted to check with you guys to see which would be the best choice. i was leaning toward the last motorcraft to try to keep everything OEM, but please tell me if any of the others would be fine as well. here's the link:

sry, i guess it doesn't link the sub categories.
click Lincoln
click 2001
click LS
click 3.9
click Belt drive
click idler pulley

sry for the laundry list of things to click. help is much appreciated.

no one has ever changed an idler pulley? i will just go with the motorcraft ones.

I haven't changed the idler on the LS, but I have used Gates belts before. I think they are a pretty good brand. Their pulley should be fine for a replacement, and they're cheaper than Motorcraft. Besides, whichever one you pick, it's kinda hard for any of the brands that Rock Auto carries to screw up an idler pulley. Just my $.02.:)
