Who's heard

I am about to order one for the Lawnmower, I will let you know how much power I gain.

Buddy burnt a piston in a Jeep Liberty 2nd day after installing them.....they might not be the cause, as this is a common thing with that V6.....but it was fine before the switch.

dammit...i thought this was going to be a "bird is the word" thread...if you don't know what i'm talking about go to youtube and search surfin' bird by the trashmen

I thought Ford's generally run better with stock plugs? Maybe that's just the LS.

my mustang runs tons better with autolite coppers, i tried platinum and iridium and they just burned out, i actually had issues melting the electrode to the ground, i saved a couple just because no one believes me when i say i melted an $8 spark plug. my mark had platinums in it when i got it, and they were shot, i put iridiums just to try them out, i only did it because they suck to do, and iridiums are supposed to last longer. i can do my stang in about 15 minutes, the mark took me about 45. if i get a misfire and it's my plugs causing it then obviously i'll go back to copper. my bro's focus runs better with iridium, my old stang ran better with platinum, my old f150 got copper but i also never tried another plug in that thing, everyone i know with a crown vic uses copper, they all said they ran worse with anything else, so ford's might run better with coppers, but the world may never know.

Sold E3 for some time at my old job. We were supposed to 'push' them, but it only took two sales (and subsequent returns) before we promptly decided that the rest of our stock would do nothing more than gather dust until we could send them back. And that is exactly what they did :)

OEM is the way to go.

many of the saturday morning auto shows are testing them out - showing both mileage and power gains.

However - they are not using a modern engine that already incorporates multiple-spark-discharge ignition system (like the LS) so not sure how effective (or any gains) you will see from a plug the creates multiple sparks in a system the already does this....

I made the mistake of putting.... bosch..... in my town car, 3000 miles later they looked worse than the autolites that had been in there for at least the last 10,000 miles (amount i put on the car). They were burnt, lots of build up, nasty looking, and the car ran like crap. Now I use motorcraft and the car couldn't be happier. I only wish motrocraft had an Autolite Annie like pin-up.
