any of you goin to wildwood this week end for the carshow? Im defnately goin, jus not sure what im driving there in. Took my 66 plymouth fury convertible the last 2 times with all my ''old mopar friends'' but this year im thinkin bout goin down in the mark viii with all four 20's and a painted hood. Either way's a good time. It's gets worse and worse every year with the local police, but theres still always a great turnout of cars and people. Hope to see some bad ass lincolns cruisin around.

September Wildwood Show

I've been doing the September show for over ten years. Way back then, you could just drive down to Wildwood, pay your fee, and ride up on the boardwalk. No advance registration required; no crowds; no cutting each other off at traffic lights to ensure a boardwalk spot..

Show got too big. A few years ago, I couldn't even get on the boardwalk; all spots were filled.

I exhibit a 1964 Ford Galaxy convertible, turquoise, black buckets. Car's a pure driver (352/250 hp), so police at every corner to catch the speeders doesn't bother me at all.

Just wish the show han't become so popular. Bigger is not always better.
