Health Care as a privilege = capitalism
Health Care as a right = socialism.
Senator Harkin couldn't have spelled it out more clearly than that.
If you support this health care legislation, you are a socialist and are in favor of destroying the very fabric of our life that makes us great.
If you think health care is a privilege, that means you would like to have a SMALLER government that provides for the very basic needs of its citizens, while providing for a strong national defense.
Capitalism is Conservatism. Small government. Low taxation. Maximum opportunity for everyone.
Socialism is Liberalism. Big government. High Taxes. Provide freebies for 80% of the population off the backs of the 20%. Everybody is hamstrung and unhappy as a majority of the population. Take any poll in any socialist country.
Small government, low taxation (based on only what is necessary to provide basic services) and maximum defense to protect a truely free society is the only equation that will be able to return our Country to greatness.
Already almost 23,000,000 people work for the government.
Over half of US Taxpayers don't pay federal taxes.
We've approached the 50% threshold were our citizens would prefer the security of government handouts vs the unlimited opportunity of a free, capitalist society.
