Wi-Fi while traveling

I am trying to get wireless internet to work in my truck, we are taking the aviator on a road trip, and I think it would be neat to turn my truck into a rolling Wi-Fi hotspot, any suggestions?

If you had a delorean you probably could go to the future to get a cheaper alternative to bring back....but the only problem is you're going to need to find a power source that can produce 1.21 giga-watts.

How large of a hotspot? I use my Verizon Palm Pre Plus and I have the free hotspot with it.
