I seem to get a lot of wind noise around the center, top, of the windshield, at highway speeds. Starts around 60 and gets worse as you speed up. Is this just the nature of the beast or should I take it in?

05 LSE by the way, no moonroof.

sounds like the car had the windshield replaced before or its a defect. Thats not normal. Take it in, its under warranty, especially if its an 05.

I HAVE had a W/S replacement and I have never had any wind noise up there.

Same here, but its possible they missed a spot when applying the sealant. I dont have any wind noise and have a new windshield too. Take it back to the dealer.

I had a windshield replaced before due to a dump truck. I thought I was going crazy and checking all the windows when I started hearing that noise a year later. Long story short, it was in fact the sealant. I'd take it back and don't ask - just tell them that the sealant is off (if it was replaced). Problem went away instantly.

Dont know if the windshield was replaced or not.
Oh, in that case, I don't know for sure. I would carefully inspect all the door and window seals as well. One more thing I checked was the windshield itself. I found the wind noise too annoying to deal with so before I took it back to windshield shop, I pushed gently around the inside of the windshield. If it moves at all it's most likely the seal. Oh yeah, the final straw was when a rain drop fell on me inside the car with all the windows up. If it's just the seal there's a chance that your insurance will take care of it.
