I've done a vivid search here with no true answer yet. When the outside temperatures are up window won't roll down. After pressing the switch several hundred times sometimes it will roll down and rolling up gives no resistance at all. But, when it's cooler outside like today... nice breeze around 60 f. I seem to be able to roll it down as much as I want! Before i go taking everything apart, anyone know what part seems to be the issue? Switch-regulator-or motor?

You'll just have to figure out what's binding and where. You can try lubricating the window tracks first, since you don't have to open up the door to do that. If that doesn't do it, then try loosening the nuts that hold the regulator in place. Move the window up and down and then re-tighten the nuts with the regulator moved slightly. Also see if the guide rails need lubrication. After that, I'd just replace the regulator and the motor as an assembly, since the motor often comes with gen I regulators anyway.

Thanks. I'll check it out. I figured since it rolls down sometimes it might be an overheating issue

***UPDATE***

Tested motor and regulator! Both good. Lubricated guide rails didn't fix. Bought and replaced master switch, problem solved! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1431624070.357982.jpg

I guess I incorrectly assumed that you had tried using both the master switch and the local switch. I'll know to ask next time...
