got a gen 1 and they leak id like to try a 2nd gen do they fit rather like to know if the single park fits were the two piece was

you're talking about the cowl. The wiper park is the area on the windshield where the wipers park when off, hence why there's a "heated wiper park" feature.

Yes, you can put a gen 2 cowl on a gen 1. It'll come with washer nozzles (relocated from the hood on gen 2) and will make the cabin filter take twice as long to replace by having to remove the wiper arms first.

Your leak is more likely to be either the gasket or boot for the wiper arm. The foam gasket on the passenger side arm only lasts a few years before disintegrating. The drive side rubber boot can get bent and deformed

Your first gen LS has the windshield washer nozzles on the hood. The second gen LSes have the windshield washer nozzles hidden on the wiper cowl.

For the record, I've never pulled the arms off to change the filter. Remove the right (car side point of view) four or five push pins and pull up on that side of the cowl enough to get access to the filter box. It's a pain, but you can do it with just the side lifted some.
