Is the windsheild from a gen I the same as a gen II? If it is how do take out the front windsheild out?

Dannnnggggg Mine has some rotting in the corner from the previous owner, and I have a perfect windsheild out of my 94.

im just going by part numbers.
it only takes a real slight change (they moved the AS1 line, changes the color or amount of tint) to cause a part number change.
according to car-part.com they are different. they are usually pretty good about interchangeability.
