Sprayer working intermitantly. Changed pump because it seemed to be heat related. Is there a relay for motor and if so can you tell me what # and location(engine bay/kick panel) I would swap relay before condemming multifunction switch. Thank You for any help.

I believe that you have a gen II. If not, then this doesn't apply at all.
On the gen II, the relay for the washer pump motor is inside the windshield wiper "smart" motor. I kid you not. Anyway, that's probably not the problem. It wasn't on my 04. The problem on mine was a bad contact on the connector to the wiper motor. Grab the wiring harness running to the motor and wiggle it some. If that makes the washer pump problem come and go, then you may have a connector issue too.
