I went to wash my windshield from the car sitting all winter and it didn't spray. I refilled washer bottle and it drained out as soon as I pushed the spray button. It is pouring out under engine at firewall. How do you trace the lines I cannot find them?

My guess is that the lines that attach to the sprayer became cracked or disconnected. Take a peak in between the cowl fins at the connections to see whats going on. I can't remember how they're routed rather it be from under the cowl or from the side.

Also, is it possible that some little creatures got hungry?

The line routes from the washer tank (located directly behind the bumper crash bar on driver side) then to the driver fender, it comes out close to the driver hood hinge and then into the wiper cowl
There's a couple of rubber connectors inside the cowl. Lift the wiper arms and slide the lock tab to unlock and lift arms off. Remove cowl cover screws and remove hood seal from the cowl. Slightly lift the cowls covers (sprayer hose is attached to the bottoms of each) simply pull the lines loose and check

I found the passenger hose disconnected. Looks about a 1/4. Inch too short. I'm going to get a rubber connector piece to connect them back together.

old thread resurrect:
Both my windshield fluid nozzles spray about the same...very weak or not at all....what needs to be cleaned, repaired, replaced? no other issues re; wiper fluid
