Just liek the title says. While everyone was doing their spinning, slipping, and sliding act, I was driving just like any other day of the week. Even the Quattro Audis didn't have anything on me. People kept flagging me down asking me for a push. :D

It was just me and the 4WD trucks out there. A 100% worthwhile purchase. Yesterday was just like any day of the week for me.

I've driven my dad's Audi A4 Quattro in the snow with regular street tires and it was absolutely a DREAM compared to the Mark VIII with Blizzak snow tires on it, and don't get me wrong I wouldn't give my Mark up for anything... maybe those tires you have are absolutely spectacular but I seriously doubt that they can outperform a Quattro in any type of weather. Again, not bashing you but perhaps you're discription is slightly misleading.

PS - Did you get out and help push?

Edit: By the way I thought my Blizzaks were amazing in the snow as well, no slipping when I modestly accellerated, the Audi is just crazy in slippery conditions though... it just really is I can't stress than enough.

The Blizzaks have nothing on M3s. I didn't say I would outperform a Quattroo in any weather, just that I saw Quattros stuck, and I wasn't. ;)

I tried to help one guy get his car out, but it was just too damn heavy. Couldn't make any leeway.

I see... I suppose any car can end up in a snow bank depending on the driver. I'll have to check those M3's out too because this is my last season on these Blizzaks.

How much did you pay and where?

the thing people in quattro's forget is that their awd doesn't help them STOP any faster.

I am running Pirelli Winter's on my car, they are decent.
