Curious as to what wipers yu all have used and found to be the most effective. Also, do you use any products like RainX.

my dad picked my wipers up at autozone & i love them!! dont know what they are called, but they werent anything special... i think they work great!!
i've never used rain-x, but the rain still beads off very nicely!! :) :L

I use rain x... and it works awesome.. Just get the bottle that sprays on and cleans windows.. most of the time i don't even have to use wipers.. Even in the car wash the water runs off faster then you can spray it on.. trust me it works very very good. I was suprised when i first tried it a few months ago and still using it today.

I got a set of wipers at one of the local parts stores and they had a teflon coating. They work quiet nicely and were just a couple dollars more. I am pretty picky I like a smooth operating windshield wiper. Almost like a pet pieve of mine.

I used to wax my windows but after they get pitted by rocks and such the build up is difficult to remove. So I have never used RainX and dont want to throw my money into gimmicks. Thanks for the recommendation.

Yeah I hate awful sound they can make when the are first launched. Yikes that sound could cause an accident.

I use Lexor wipers, I have bought 2 sets of ancos and they always come apart. I have put Lexors on every car since and they dont come apart and wipe good.

Yep I have the anco pieces of :q and that is what happened that and they are LOUD as :q

I used the winter blades with the rubber boot on them from autozone, they work fine. I also use rain-x extensively, and rain-x orange fluid. I got the fluid for 79 cents a gallon a while back, I bought 25 gallons... works pretty good and doesnt' strip the rain-x off.

I've found it best to apply rain-x when the windows are already cleaned, then buff on a coat, and grind it in good, so it looks shiny-smeary like. Wait a minute or two (this gives your arm a break anyway), then put on another coat over the first - leave it cloudy. If you can time it right, leave it cloudy after the second coat, then drive it in the rain. The rain will wash the cloudiness away, and will leave some very fine lines on the window. If it rains enough, you won't need to use the wipers at all, if it's a weak rain, then you might have to use the wipers once with no fluid, just drag them across the window once. You do that, and it will last a very long time. It's also easier for some reason to put it on if the window has just a little bit of water on it... Like half a squirt from a squeeze bottle.

After that, the faster you drive the better you can see. Kinda dangerous in a way, because you can really outdrive your tires in a heavy rainstorm, because you can still see without using the wipers. On average, I get about 2 years out of a set of wipers. it gets my stamp of approval!

WARNING: Do NOT apply Rain-X or like products near the auto-wiper moisture sensor (in front of the rear-view mirror) as it may interfere with it's operation. With that said, I'm a big Rain-X fan as well.

EL I use Bosch wipers, they seem to last a little longer here in Fl. Also I have used Rain-X it does work. Did you hear that Courtesy LM is closing??? I passed this morning, there's all Toyota's where the Lincoln's used to be. That sucks, now I have to take my car to Northgate.... Too far

I bought Bosch wipers yesterday, just in time for todays rain, did not rainx the car yet. Yeah Courtesy Lincoln franchise was bought by Gator Ford which is off if I4. I forget the exit number. I went there over the weekend. They did hire a lot of the C ourtesy Lincoln Techs including one that I trust very much. Gator has a very very nice waiting area and FLM dealership.
