i have a 95 mark viii with a just recently dropped in 96 motor. now i have been in the midst of putting it together over the last couple months. now just this weekend it all got dropped back in the car and all the wiring and everything is hooked back up. but i have a big problem now. when i got the motor from a junk yard and they hacked up the wiring big time. but i souldered in all my wiring and everything is all good or so i think. now the motor cranks over but im getting no spark. tried chanking over coil packs. and everything. i read in another thread that the fuzes could be blown. so i checked those now the only other thing is that there is a connection that runs down the driver side of the motor that has like a 4 way split. one runs to cam sensor, the other runs down by the oil filter one to under the fuze box under hood and other to the motor. now the one that comes off the fuze box to the motor on my 95 had only 2 wires and the one on my 96 motor had 4 wires now i checked a bizillion times to make sure i didnt need to solder in a different connection. would this deletion of the 2 wires make so i dont have spark. the only thing i dont have done will be the crank sensor which is about to get done. but if anything else should be checked please write back soon

Im reading my electrical and vacuum manual for my old 95

why dont you use all your old sensors and wires, there are going to be some things that dont match up but let me know

well all the wiring matched up on the old motor to the new except there was 2 wires that were extra that run under the fuze box. but im gonna start playing with it tomorrow

there is another thread on here about the an alarm problem and with a tap of the hammer on the starter it runs. well i know on at least the old mopars there are 3 wires on the starter. power, ground, and ignition. could this be my problem. now there are only two on my mark one is obviously power. is the other something with the ignition or some relay or no?

the starter grounds through the block and the small red w/ blue wire is the "signal wire" make sure you are getting power there when you att. to crank it over

yeah it cranks over but no spark. i have jacked around but i dont have anywhere to work on the car right now but the signal wire would be where i would have to look then
