Replacing top radiator/coolant hose on my 2005 Lincoln LS V6 and how it was broken by Firestone is a story you won't believe. Also valve cover gaskets, coolant flush and fill, fuel filter (?), thermostat (?), halogen bulbs to LED over entire car including changing white interior courtesy, dome and map lights to purple, repairing leather on driver's seat and locating some WeatherTech type floor mats that look good.
So what has prompted me to take a renewed interest in my wife's car. A number of things but the main reason was my incurable OCD and anal retentiveness.
The car is now 15 years old w/approx 71k miles. Trade-In value is practically the cost of a good dinner for two and I just like the damned car - sorry I sold my 2002 LS V8 years ago.
Everyone is in quarantine and there's no better way to pass the time than to read about my troubles and triumphs in repairing and renewing this Lincoln. (My lawsuit against Firestone should also prove entertaining.)
With the help of those that enjoy their LS's and like being entertained, this odyssey should be lots of fun.
