Would This Fit In A 97' Mk8???

Ok, why do we want to install a worthless 16-valver' in our Mark???

you may have some wireing differences. I know there are some MAJOR differences between a 97 mark wireing harness and a 98. So it may work but be prepared. check on www.car-parts.com hell of a selection and most are reasonable.

huh? what's different between the '97 and '98? I can see a difference betwee the Gen1 and Gen2 but not between the two years of a Gen2.

Isn't that engine less advanced that the Intech?
Get one from a Cobra, or from another Mark VIII at least.

I'm in the process of doing a swap in my 97 mark VIII and I was looking for an engine harnes. Well ford makes 3 different types of harness for the 98 and only 1 for the 97 and the 2 per the service manual are not interchanable. So that why I recomended that if its just to replace what they have already with the same year because I know the wireing is different between a 97 and 98 for a fact. Any 4.6 modular DOHC V8 will fit in the mark. its just the amount of work to get it to wire up correctly may be a chalenge.
