I took them apart and cleaned all the hazy crap off of them, and polished the lens.

They'll still heat, they just won't dim...

How hard is it to pull the motor out and just replace it in the mirror housing? Mine stopped going in two directions again, so need a motor assembly too...

not very hard, it just pops off.

I know the mirror lens pops off/on, thats how I found out mine was broken. I was talking about the motor.

The motor is held on by like 3 or 4 little torx screws. pretty easy.
