i need a neon like yesterday, the car is a 98 toreador red lsc, but i will take any color beside chrome. if i have to paint it thats what i have to do, i need a working neon, ballast need not be included, lense must be crack free, and no black crap inside husing, this car is immaculate and the neon must be nice to. i shattered a custmers neon last saturday and thought i had one lined up but i dont have time to be dicked around i need one now. i am paying for this so please dont rape me, like i said i dont need the ballast, keep it and get 100 bucks alone on ebay for the ballast. if you have a neon please let me know and a price shipped 34684 i need it asap.
 
I don't know if this will help, but I've got 2 that are in not so great condition. I believe both lenses are in good shape, but the top trim pieces on each one are both f'ed.

If you could possibly use the trim off of the busted one, you might be able to use one of mine...

The better one of the 2 has some paint chipped around the keyhole, and one corner looks like it was dropped on it...

The other one probably wouldn't do you much good at all.

I noticed that Mopar68GTX (I assume, your father-in-law) is selling one on eBay. Is using that one not an option?
 
no chrome, and the one he has is strictly if someone needs to fill a hole on their car, it doesnt work. send me good pics of the ones you have to jamies98lsc@aol.com by the sounds of it i dont think it will help this car has 98k on it and you can eat off any part of it, i cant put garbage on the car but show me what they look like maybe i can make something work i am desperate at this point.
 
Ok, the way I read it, it seemed like maybe it just needed a ballast. I'm going to bed right now, but I'll try and get you those pictures tomorrow morning.
 
actually i have no idea if it would work with a ballast, i removed it from a car the way it is, the ballast was already gone. it could work, but its a p.o.s i wouldnt use it anyway.
 
I understand. I was actually thinking about bidding on it if it stays low, so I have another one to toy around with.
 
Jamie, I have a nice Toreador Red neon that works but does need a ballast. I tested it with a working ballast a while back. Nice paint and no mold inside. The lettering even looks nice. It does only have 4 mounting lugs left on it. I think we have had enough deals together that you can trust me when I say it is nice. I have no idea what it will cost to ship though. Pm me what you think it will cost to ship, and what you want to pay for it.
 
I've got a BUNCH of the little mounting studs, if you want some to epoxy onto that one.
 
roger, i can use studs off the exsisting neon too it still works i just blew half the lense apart on it. i will pm you right now.
 
im gonna hold onto it for now i may see if i can get the lense off the neon i have and transplant it.
 
Your welcome Jamie. I certainly don't mind helping out someone like you who helps everyone on here with your wealth of information on Mark VIII's.
 
thanks, but to most on here i am just a p.o.s who never did anything except own a few of them.
