I tried junkyards near you and got nothing as far as low mileage engines go. did you check craigslist? There's almost always a good deal somewhere on there

Those prices sound about right coming from those places. I can get you a motor as well, but it is going to cost $600 to buy it. Then shipping and crating. Don't get me started. When you decide to put another motor in your Mark, you are committing to it.

I plan on keeping mine for the long haul.
What are the details on the engine? Year, Miles, etc?
Houston isn't too far from where I'm at and I don't mind a road trip.
