So I bought a 97 that a connecting rod decided it wanted out of that dark cylinder so it made a door on the side of the block to exit through. So I'm looking for an engine that I only need the block and heads. If it's complete that's fine too. If it's still in the car I can take it out but I'm looking for someone close to RI.

Hey man I don't know anyone that is near RI but BAD97LSC usually has engines for sale. He just sold a guy on here a complete engine for a 98. His name is Jamie and he has a humungous shop that is filled with Mark Viii parts. All he does is part out Mark's. He is like a Junk Yard but for only Mark's!!! He has anything anyone would ever need for a mark!!! But yeah give him a holler and he sells for good prices since they have to be shipped. P.S. it is pretty cheap to ship freight with a regular trucking company that does routes up to RI from florida since they are already going that way, they just add you product and carry it too. You then have to pick it up from the Truck docs or whatever it is called!!! Good luck!!

come down here and i'll sell you one dirt ass cheap, it wont take long to drive here it will cost you less in gas to come get it than shipping, i'll sell you a 97 block with rotating assembly and heads for $175 cash engine runs but has high miles. i would be keeping the oil pan as well. motor is in this car currently.
