I have been having weird problems with my tranny (I think), jerking, it feels like each gear has 2 parts of the gear so it sounds like its possibly slipping, etc... I still haven't checked my coil packs to make sure there isn't oil leaking from valve covers. I have searched all over here for over 8 hours reading symptoms of solenoid pack problems so instead I just decided to buy it and put it in. So if anybody has a valve body that's new/reman or a new/reman solenoid pack, throw up pics and price. There is a video of how to rebuild solenoid packs on these transmissions that the LS' have on YouTube, just type in "55R5N solenoid rebuild" and its a few down, not many views but damn good info!!I have a 2001 LS V8, believe its a 55R5N. Anybody have a handy method on how to fill tranny? gravity fill, easy to make pump, etc... and how to keep an eye on fluid levels. Sorry for long post, and thanks very much for all your guys' help! I love the info on this site, you guys are all life savers!!!
