I almost bought the set from 'longtimelincolnlover' but he was way too pushy so I held off and did some thread searching and thanks to the watchdogs of LVC I discovered it was Dennis the bigreddouche. Then I saw that Grampslincoln was selling them too. So I contacted him and it seems they are the same guy since the pictures they each sent were almost identical. I am not 100% convinced they are the same person though since gramps didn't get retarted and call us names and use caps.

Anyway, still looking for octastars. I would love to get the set in Fla that foxlincoln is selling but he/she won't ship them and my Fla trip got cancelled.

Would really love a set if anyone knows of one.

I have an original LMS 3 piece wing that I could consider trading for but I really just want the rims.

Blah, blah, blah. We got like 5" of snow around here so since winter is close i'll be inside and in the forum a lot more again.

I thought you had speedstars???

What happen to those?

I do have the speedstars but absolutely nothing beats the stock ride. I like the stock rims for the winter (even though it doesn't get driven) and long trips. Not to mention I live in Boston and the streets suck; I don't use the speedstars that often so I won't dent them.

Warden, I got mine from Jamie with only one minor blemish on the outer lip. It's about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch long but you have to be within 8 feet or less to even see it. He'll ship to you if he runs across any of them but getting them for under $500 in 8 to 9 out of 10 condition, shouldn't be hard. I don't have any leaking issues with mine and the center caps were all scratchless. If you do get some and they are near mint condition, always remember to take the center caps off before you have any tire work done.

Do not let a tire tech remove your center caps because they aren't theirs and they don't know the value and rareness of mint center caps. I didn't learn this from my Octi's but I did with the snowflakes. I watched them remove those center caps and I saw 2 of them hit the floor. I learned from that to just take my center caps off and drive there ugly which isn't like you visit the tire shop often.

Mine are less than perfect but have awesome Dunlop snow tires on them.
That's why I ask.

I put 300 lbs of sand in the back (plus 100 lbs of nitrous) and the car goes thru ANYTHING.

I love to race 4 wheel drive trucks from a dig in the snow. Way better than any ricer race.
