WTB: rear coil top mounts for spring conversaion

I don't see how those would work, at all :confused: - they won't even positively locate, plus they aren't flat, or strong, or have a big enough lip to contain the spring (assuming they are even big enough in diameter to cover a rear spring)
 
yea, i made a thread about this acouple months ago and he mentioned it but it just doesnt seem safe.
 
I need a set as well. I am thinking of fabricating some. What gauge sheetmetal do you think I should use? And what size should I make the nipple?
 
i havnt seen a set in person but i would think 1/8" would b good.. honestly when it comes to susp work you got to get it dead on. but if you got the skills more power to ya!
 
If you guys have a pic or some rough dimentions, I could make some up for those in need......I have Fabrication/Machine shop and things are a bit slow right now. If I can help out let me know.
