Looking to do a gear swap out and Have been told I need a new Shaft due to excessive Vibration on Stock Shaft...

Let me know please..

Or, if you can't find a Denny's Driveshaft, look for a 93 shaft, get it rebalanced, and call it good.

Just curious as to why I cant reuse my shaft after a rebalance...
Whats the difference? I really have not looked closely to it... does the 96 have a CV at the differential end? I know other shafts that did I just did not notice on mine...

OR, you could get a HD aluminum shaft from Denny's.

It amazes me that when I bought my 500 dollar matrix shaft I was told that MMX was the ONLY thing that would work. I asked why standard T6061-T6 stock would'nt work. I was told "centerline to centerline on the VIII is too excessive for 6061, MMX is stiffer".

*NOW* that Alcoa does'nt produce MMX, 6061 is JUST fine for an VIII shaft.

I hope my sarcasm firewall was set properly for that last bit.

I have a used Dennys MMX driveshaft... Unfortunately, it's installed on the car, and I'm using it. But... since it's been installed and driven on, it's used. :D

Everybody's a friggi'n comedian and that includes you Froggy!
