WTB (want to replace all chrome pieces with Black)

Looking to replace all the chrome pieces on the 01 Ls with Black.

I would like Black Chrome if possible.

I will trade my stuff or buy outright.
Let me know what have and the price for shipping to 74074 (Oklahoma)

There are no chrome replacements. You're going to have to paint your unsightly chrome. Obviously, sanding and priming before the paint.

Thanks, I was looking online last night after I posted it and didnt find anything.

I will see if someone purchased a car and dont want it.

I will more than likely start sanding this spring!
 
hmmm... not sure what chrome parts your looking to replace, but the stock grill can switched with the LSE or McClaren (sp?) the licence plate surround is available on LSKoncepts i believe. Or you can read the tech article on LSK on how to paint em yourself. All of it is the same. PREP WORK IS CRUCIAL!!!!


There is another how to on here that covers the chrome with pinstriping and it comes out pretty good too. I think 02LSEbrnjfkkjadsnbhkjcbmascbfh did it.
 
I am sure they are available. They call it cover molding. I would e-mail team ford first to make sure but if you look for the bumpers on the site and look under components you can view a diagram showing what looks like the chrome strips for both front and rear.


If you look at the description for the 2000 it is one piece and for the 03-05 it is two pieces on the front. Just makes me wonder and think it is available. Look at number five. A pic for the 03-05 is not available but rather than showing the price for one part it gives left and right and the 03-5 has a left and right piece.

do you havea sport model? Trying to figure out exactly what your looking to replace and such. I like the black chrome idea, but i dont think i would do it. there is just too much of it to get done
 
Black chrome the bumpers and paint the surrounds and window trim and that would look nice IMO! Just dont get a grille with a chrome center like the LSE or have it black chrome also.

you can get them at ford for 250.00 all 4 pieces already priced it but im just going to paint mine my self
 
Yeah, I was just letting other members know there is a option for purchasing them. Besides you want black and I dont think they sell black. The sport and V8 03-5 non chrome bumpers are manufactured without the chrome not with a painted insert. IMO I would just do the bumper swaps as I tell everyone. Then you can up your game to the LSE bumpers anyway but good luck.
 
im thinking of selling my 01 sport bumper (chrome is gone from factory) if anyone is interested
