wtf.... china coils?

I just received my coils and plugs from rockauto and the bags say they are motorcraft but on the bottom of the bags it says made in china? is nothing made in North America anymore? Has anybody had any issues with these coils or are they about the same as the ones I took out. To early to tell but the new coils and plugs made the car run like new again, no more slight miss at idle and throttle response is back to normal. thanks.

Yup, I replaced all my coils a couple months ago and they were all from China. So far I haven't had any problems, but when I first got the Motocraft bags which were clearly marked "MAKE IN CHINA" I was pretty disappointed.

I believe these showed up 3-4 years ago (made in China in a plastic bag). Before that they came in a box and I believe they were USA. I did get some USA ones from Advance Auto 2-3 years ago, but I forget the brand. All of them have been in the car for a while. Nowadays, I just replace all the boots and all the spark plugs rather than the coils to get rid of misfires.

Yep, just like o2 sensors, I'm sure that at a certain point I'll be saving old good ones out of scrapped cars and trucks because they read truer and last longer vs. 'new' ones.
