Here's one that stumped my wife and myself when she got a call from one of the apartment complex managers her office oversees. This gal was from Jawjuh.

Vent-a -hood

As in "We need to replace the vent-a-hood in unit 64 before the new tenents move in."

Sound familiar to anyone?

Yea, sounds like the cover over a stove/range, when you don't have a microwave installed. But it still has a vent fan.
 
Rich, what is scary is , i know some people here that use those expresions. Thank god i was born and raised in Arizona :D
