Well, I got some yellow fog light bulbs to play around with. I put them in real quick and snapped a few photos. I originally had the HOEN Xenon Match H10 bulb in the fogs. I got the yellow Nokya bulb off of eBay. Here's a link to get them:

First picture is of the HOEN Xenon Match H10 bulbs:

Next is a side by side comparison of the HOEN bulb and yellow Nokya bulb. Notice how much brighter the yellow seems to emit.

Here is with both yellow Nokya's installed:

I'll take some more pics later this evening when it gets darker. I'll play around with these and see how they do and look. I might keep them then again I might put my HOEN's back in. However, I think they look pretty cool.

ive always loved the look of (i think) the lexus gs400 that has the yellow bulbs in the fogs, id like to see it at night. by the way the ls is looking lovely

i was going to start a post to see if people liked the way they look as much as i do, those look so nice...what would i have to go through to install them though

those look nice Ken... what kinda bulb can i replace my blinker bulb since i got that nasty egg yolk look now since you cleared my headlights? i read people talkin about a bulb that looks chrome but actually emmits the orange blinker color... can you give me a specific model and name so i can go out and buy them...

I'm running the Sylvania Silverstar Turn Signal bulbs. They don't give off that nasty yellowish look. Here's a link to Sylvania's website:

You can get them at any automotive store or you can order them direct from Sylvania on the website I linked up above.

how easy is it to install them! :repost:
They just twist out and you release the connector. It took me about 5 minutes to change them out.

Jay, good see you on LvC. I get to try out the fogs in the morning heading to work.

What kind of headlights are those? (Oh nevermind, they're the angel eyes). How do they compare in brightness and range to the stock ones, or are they just for show?

theyre just for show, you can see them in the daytime and in the noght i drive with just my fogs and them on it looks sick.

So the angel eyes are no brighter than the stock headlights?

Nevermind- searched through the forum, and it looks like the projector types are exceedingly bright, and tasteful in appearance. :)

Ken, how are the yellow fogs for actual viewing of the road? Are they better/brighter than the whites? Back in the day, all fogs were yellow under the theory that the yellow light would not bounce off the fog as bad as the white light.

It was from different aperture settings. The darker version is to show the lights a little better.

George,

Since it gets lighter earlier I wasn't able to truly test them out this morning. There was some fog in areas on my way to work and I didn't have a problem seeing through the fog. I don't know if this is because the sun was coming up or not. The true test would be at night with dense fog. Also, I'm running 6000K HID's and that is helping too. I did notice that the yellow fogs were brighter than the HOEN bulbs though. That really surprised me.

GreyGhost,

Where did you pickup the plastic you inserted into your head lights? I've been wanting to clear a pair out but wasn't sure where to find that type of almost step siding plastic.

I've thought about buying a sheet of the stuff that people use to cover the big flourescent lights in a ceiling like at a doctors office or in a school, often the same lights used with any cork drop ceiling lights

If ya dont mind sharing :D

You can get the fluorescent sheets but it won't last long under extreme UV conditions. I bought a sheet of acrylic from a hobby shop. However, I am having clear lenses molded for the headlight turn signal area. I should have them available next week if you can hold off. It will look more like factory but a little more clear.
