I promise to nicer if you promise to be smarter.
Someone you know hands you 1500 to 2000 rounds of medium quality .45ACP, and you order a medium quality firearm just to shoot that particular batch of ammo, since you don't want to put that ammo through your "good" guns.

I've already got a buyer for this .45 once I put the free ammo through it.

Is there a Firearms Anonymous out there?

I feel the same way about my friend's family. Their family is very military oriented and they have a bullet press out in the garage and are always cleaning guns at the table. I feel very safe in their house haha. I wasn't aware there were good and bad bullets.

I didn't say "bad". I said "medium quality". Just like everything else, you have High end, Medium end and Low end stuff. Bullets aren't any different.

I mean, sure, most of them will fire properly, but they vary based on load, weights, etc.

These rounds I got are just plain old Federal Practice rounds.

Nah, you only need one of those Anon groups if you have a problem. If you need it, I might have to go with you--the only SKS I ever owned was in my possession for less than two minutes before I traded it off. I'm not sure I ever actually handled the damned thing...

Yea I know, I just meant I didn't know they varied in quality. I knew there were different types like hollow points but didn't know you could get higher quality rounds, I figured they all were about the same.

You don't have issues, you have knowledge. I won't run anything that is not coated out of my rifles, even though it cost me $3 a round. I won't even run a brass brush thru anything I own (voids the warranty on any match rifle) Now the shotgun on the other hand, it it fits in the chamber it's getting shot, my home defense rounds are 2 3/4 filled with copper wire (won't go thru walls or drywall :)
