Latch Assmebly + Actuator Help!

I've found these pieces online through ebay

I was going to get this assembly

I spoke to the seller over the phone and he'll basically give me the actuator to go with it

He's selling these two actuators ^^
They both have the same part number, one came from a 95, one from a 97

I have a 95 LSC

How come the shape of the hooks on the actuators are different, I full thoroughly out of my element here.
If he wasn't willing to give me such a deal I wouldn't feel pressured to buy it from him but I want this to be right the first time...

Will both work? Is none of this compatible with a LSC?

I posted in the parts section to no avail but now I have questions XD
Maybe someone wants to turn around and sell me this set? $100 shipped?

If its the inner door handle, those are Gen specific, but LSC or Base model won't make a difference on that part.

Would like to know your issue as to why you're buying a part , if the handle doesn't pop the door, pull the door panel off and check to make sure that the handles rod is still attached to the clip. The plastic clips come open and the rod falls out sometimes

The cable keeps popping off the inside handle mechanism, my mechanic tells me the cable is probably stretched

The problem is that the door wont lock (the passenger does)

it wont lock whether I use the pin physically (it wont go down) or I press any of the electronic lock buttons

If you need a door lock actuator go to rockauto.com, I just bought one for half that price! It sounds like your problem is in the lock mechanism and not the actuator. You should still be able to push the button on the top of the door panel down even with a bad actuator. Do what Sapper suggested for the door handle!

i just swapped my dr. door for a straight one ill give ya whatever ya need outta the old door for say $30+shipping. everything works in the door im just doing wreck repair. and its just sittin here

If you can hear the actuator trying to do something when you press the button, it's not the problem. I wasted my time and money to find that out myself just a few months ago.

Your door latch is likely bent up like mine was.

Sounds like something is interfering with the door lock its self. Go into the door (as stated above) and tell what you see or post a picture. Take your time taking the door panels off, the hooks brake easily.
