i had brought the 1st gen tensioners from the dealer. the 1s prone to failure. now i got the one from cris auto parts as well... wat i want to know is with the 1st gen tensioners the pressure is sooooo strong as in its hard to compress it with a wrench... yet the updated ones from Cris auto...

@Slow91z... thankz 4 da quick reply... i hate wen ppl say search instead of answerin... such a waste... im orderin the whole timing chain set and timing tool set right now... i kinda figured wat u said cuz i just lined up the sprocket and only glanced at the cams... so ima redo the whole thing...
ok i brought this car wit 87 thou on it... runs smooth like a champ. shifts and everything smooth... need secondary timing chains... i replace them with new ones... i had to remove the sprocket cuz it wasnt enough room... oh both sides... i didnt have the lockin tool but i marked them. lining...
