    Help with diagnostics please ...

Hey everyone, it's been a while ... I have a 2001 LS/V8 ... I just replaced the upper and lower ball joints in the front. During this, the ABS sensor wire had to be disconnected from the wheel hub in order to replace the lower ball joint assembly (which is the only thing I can think that may...

Okay, well drivability is fine and is definitely improved. I did learn this: The PCM Reset clears all emission-related diagnostic information. When resetting the PCM, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P1000 will be stored in the PCM until all the OBD II system monitors or components have been...

I do receive two DTC's ... P1000 and P1233. I am assuming both are normal due to the ECU being flashed with a performance file. Anyone? Re: P1000 = DTC P1000 is ignored in KOEO and KOER Self-Test. Disregard the DTC P1000 and continue as directed. P1233 = Perform Rear Electronics Module...

We've actually been emailing back and forth in the past 30 minutes. He's a big help. He may email me another file to replace the SST one, since I don't have SST. I'm currently running the Perf File 2 ... shifting quickness is impressive and the seat-dyno tells me there's definitely a boost in...

Here is my question though. Torrie supplies the unit with three pre-programs for the Lincoln LS. I see three files entitled, "Perf File 1, Perf File 2, and 1stgearsst test." I don't have the SelectShift Transmission; am I able to use the third selection?

    Added exhaust tips ...

Thank-you! Actually, the bumper material cuts very smoothly with a utility knife. I scored a deep outline and simply twisted out the pieces with pliers. Cleaned up the edges with sandpaper. Have patience, and it helps to be a bit artistic. :D

Thank God ... I kept telling myself, "NO ONE can be this stupid!" I kinda figured it to be a joke after the 50hp ricer statement. The Porsche picture was the icing on the cake! No offense Ken, but you're a terrible liar!! ;) Hey, it built up MY post level anyway! ;)

 Now you're just a freakin' idiot! That image was taken from www.flamethrowers.com.au ... not R&T. The Porsche is set up with a flamethrower kit ... DUH!!! You're not fooling anyone; Ken (Motz), are you an 8 year old with nothing better to do? Why not post the link to the article...

Jeez Mr. Motz, you just keep shooting yourself in the foot. Considering Mr. Garrison's getting involved here, I think you should rethink your strategy ... and I quote: Send me a set spinners! I've no problem with you wasting your money on me. Besides, my son could use some helicopter blades...

LOL! It keeps getting funnier ... Thank God. Did it ever occur to you that the video is a GIF file in rotation? Absolutely NOT the same product, purpose or effect as what we are speaking of here. Which leads me back to my original, still unanswered, request of where you think "ricers"...

    Dealerships vs. Stealerships

 I'm just picturing you actually saying this while standing in the parts department with others around. :D

    Dealerships vs. Stealerships

Very true. Guys, I'm not looking to be educated in shopping ... just simply stirring interest in others possibly having the same findings. I always check with the Lincoln dealer first since they are closer (I could ride my bike). Ford is a bit further, but in the end who do you think gets...

    Dealerships vs. Stealerships

Not really complaining, but to charge over list price is ridiculous for a large dealership. I'm not talking about toilet paper at the local corner store as compared to Walmart who obviously has stronger buying power. These two are large dealerships in the same area, and the prices are extreme...

    Dealerships vs. Stealerships

Anyone else notice this? It seems that Lincoln dealerships want to charge their customers more for the same part that can be readily had from a Ford dealership, at least in my area. I went to Holman Lincoln to get a price on a set of rear struts for the LS. The parts associate quotes me $94...
