they look nice to me and i highly doubt the spring will move at all. in fact i think you did a good thing as my perches are creaky because they are too close to the spring. i've seen cars in the junkyard with no perch at all if that tells you something. i'll trade you if you decide you dont...
There are 3 seperate "pads" that come with the kit, as well as what I believe is rubbing compound. The pads are like fine sandpaper. It sounds like I need to use a little more elbow grease. Thanks for the advice.
