I changed the upper tensioners.

Even if you are replacing all of the chains, guides, and tensioners you don't need those special expensive tools. I have 20,000miles since I replaced just the tensioners and it's still running like a champ.

Yup that's what I did, I just moved the chain a tooth and she was all set.

I bought an electric fan from advanceautoparts last weekend when I was fixing my tensioner. I pulled out the fan with they hydro stuff along with it. I have been driving it all week with no over heating issues. Cost me $60.

Here are some pics of it. The passenger side toke about 40mins to do. With the bare minimum removed. Did not use any special tools like the manuals says you need. I was off a tooth on the exhaust cam, which was an easy fix. Car runs great now :)

No sure what you meant buy how I kept the cams from moving. I simply lifted the end of the cam, toke out the old tensioner, installed the new tensioner, put the cam back down, torqued the cam caps back down, verified the timing was correct i.e. on the passenger side the exhaust cam at 0 degrees...
