I know the pump needs to be replaced, but i wonder if it will address the ticking and possible chain slap im hearing at 800 rpm.
since my cold idle pressure is good I would think that the sounds wouldn't occur until the engine oil has warmed up after afew minutes. the sounds start about 20...
I oil pressure tested my 68,000 mile mark last night. Iv been trying to find the cause of the loud valve train I have at idle.
i will admit when I bought the car 3 years ago I added underdrives w/ fluid dampener ......I used an impact:(

iv read the tensioners bleed down with no oil pressure. thats why I assumed it might be normal to have a loose chain . the secondary chain was tight as all hell tho.
