I have a 2000 LS V8. My drive shaft center support bearing is shot. I have removed the drive shaft and trying to pull the bearing with a puller. The puller is not able to pull it off, is there a retaining ring on there somewhere? Maybe under the metal ring? I tried to pry that off and was unable to.
I am looking for the factory service manual for 2000 LS. Specifically the for the drive shaft center bearing replacement with the torque specs. Could someone upload this section of the manual or point me where to find it.
Does anyone happen to have the service manual to change out the center drive shaft bearing on a 2000? I need the torque specs and if anyone the manual that would be awesome

2000 LS V8: AC is blowing out hot, like 100 degree hot air on any setting. It's pretty hot from start up to engine warm up then it gets really hot. Never comes out ambient temperature or colder if AC function is turned on. The pressure is good and it the fuses check good.
So I am getting a creaking sound from my rear suspension, sounds similar to the sound that my front sway bar end links were making. When I push down on the corners of the rear it has a real bad creak/squeak. The toe link bushing is shot so I am wondering if this guy is the culprit. Any thoughts?
Today I was driving around highway speeds for about an hour. I got onto a main road, and while cruising I tried to push the accelerator, no response. I then pulled over to a parking lot and in the meantime discovered my power steering went out along with the power assist for the brakes. As I was...
My rearview mirror on my 2000 lincoln ls is broken. I have a new one. How do I remove the metal button from the mirror in order to replace it?
I have already searched the forums and cannot find an answer.
