    Try flattening out the spring tab just a bit, don't over do it, or it won't pop out when you hit the release button. If by chance you flatten it too much you'll have to hold the release cable in the trunk and pick the door out with your other hand

    Same as changing the filter on a Gen2.. That's why I'm getting an FRPP filter relocation kit
