Under the hood:
20g turbo that puts out 23lbs...
Ok so I am replacing the hydraulic pump on my 2000 lincoln ls v6. I have the altenator out have made it to the pump... I'm stuck on how to get the hydraulic line out of the top of the pump. Its jackhammered in there for sure, does anyone know the trick to remove this???
Thats where I am lost here on this electric conversion I would like to do. If I just do the conversion and let the fluid go then my pump will start wining etc. Is there a way to do the conversion and not mess with the hydraulics?
QUICKLS- I took it to the dealer bcz I thought it was just a hose... I have no overheating issues just a leak. They claim its the pump and thats a $950 fix.
Yeah I am located in Columbia City, IN. I have heard about the elec. conversion and thinking of doing it.. just need to figure out if...
I have a hydraulic fluid leak, dealer says its the pump. Can I get away with putting some lucas stop leak and going on? Also it leaks when I have the heat on, it leaks very little when I don't use the heat. Would an electric fan conversion stop this problem altogether?
Hey guys I recently had the hydraulic pump take a crap on me... imagine that! I am just wondering if I should replace this pump or do the conversion? I know in the converison I read on here you have to remove the pump... so if my fan is still in working condition wouldn't it make more sense...
