AC blowing hot, DCCV replaced 2 times

Problem solved So after pulling most of my hair out, I now have AC. After all the trouble, it was the DATC. I had replaced the DCCV twice, vacuumed and recharged the 134a refrigerant, and replaced the drier. I was at my wits end since nobody seems to have my problem. So I picked up a DATC...

AC blowing hot, DCCV replaced 2 times

my car is a 2000 LS V6. I think what you were saying joegr is on the right track. I know the DCCV uses 12v power and when the AC is turned on, it should send power to the valves to close them. I'm just not sure how to test for it with the voltmeter. Also, I have checked for codes on the DATC...

    another AC problem

I have not tested the voltages yet but I did clamp the lines going to the heater core and it still did not change anything. One question I have is my freon or 134a. I saw a poster say he had the same problem and thought his freon was good but his high side pressure was low so he flushed the ac...

    another AC problem

Hi everybody, I have an AC problem. First, my compressor wasn't turning on so I charged it up and it kicked on. When I first start the car it will blow a little bit cold on drivers side so I replaced the DCCV. so I have a charged ac unit that is turning on and a new DCCV but still no air...
