help how it work and components navigator 04 air suspension

You're better off leaving as is. The air suspension system is expensive to maintain, but if you want to start from scratch then you can get a whole new assembly off Ebay for around $1,200-$1,500 which would include the main components (4 air shocks and compressor). With that being said, you have...

    system questions

Another option is Free-air speakers. Infinity makes 10's and 12 inch size woofers that have free-air capability. This way you won't lose trunk space and they really sound great! The trade off is that they are not cheap, but you can find them on ebay roughly around $300-$400/pair.

    2006 Ls

Ford is notorious for changing it's production, redesign and discontinue dates. I don't know much about the LS program. Last I heard was a complete redesign, but not long before that it was slated to be discontinued. Basically, we all have to wait and see what ford decides.

Rocky Shifting and Misfire / Dear Diary

If your mechanic noticed oil in your spark plug wells, then it's definitely time to get your gaskets replaced. As far as the coil-on-plugs(COP) goes, unless you have a high tech scan tool that can perform engine analysis or you don't mind going to the dealer and paying $87(that's what my local...

    Coil-On-Plug Question?

The scan tool that my local Autozone uses is called an Actron model# CP9135. It simply reads & erases codes, read pending codes,I/M monitors and MIL status. So basically, it only reads active codes. I need some type of scan tool that can not only do these things, but also analyze and...

    Coil-On-Plug Question?

That's the thing! I went to autozone and they said that for COP's they have to be tested while in the vehicle with an engine analyzer. I hope there is another option. I know about visual boot test(look for burnout around the boot or loose fitting boot). As it stands, I have five good COP's...

    Coil-On-Plug Question?

Do anyone know if there is a way to test COP's without having to go to the dealer? I know one of my COP's is bad(again), I just need to locate which one. No check engine light, but I know when one is going bad.

    Corners

one guy in another forum re-sealed it using RTV. He did this several times, once to eliminate the fogging issue, another to change the amber lens and then another to install angel eyes. Never had a leak problem from either instance. Both of my lights are foggy. I will try this method this...

    Corners

Talking to other LS owners in other forums. If you have the older version lights('00-'02), most of them have the gray sealant( put it in the oven at 200 degrees for 15 mins - comes off easily). If you have the black sealant - forget about it(heat resistant up 600 degrees).

    Transmission fluid change interval

Hey Forum! I am new to this forum. This is my third LS(first two were leased-my current one is bought and paid for used). **DO NOT BELIEVE THAT SEAL FOR LIFE MESS** My first LS had a trans problem near the end of my lease 44k miles. When ford pulled it, the fluid was darker than...
