Would the PCM go bad and still not throw a code?

Dealer did updates and brand new solenoid rebuild valve body new servoes and all the insides

No he does trannies all the time an yes we replaced all the mechanical items. Thought the valve body was clogged after everything was rebuilt and put in a replacement and still no luck

My buddy who works at shop redid it

I have a 2003 v8 started shifting harsh into 3rd gear an almost seemed like it was slipping into 4th no codes t all had the trans rebuilt and then had the computer updated with all the newest updates an it still is shifting hard in to 3rd we can't figure out the problem... Any suggestions

Yeah certainly wasn't cheap but she runs much better now

Update .... I had the throttle body replaced and haven't had any problems

Yeah mine doesn't click as I doin it once it is in place it won't spin any more. I'll check into that more tomorrow.

Would this be the issue if I haven't had any problems while driving though because the few times it has happened once I drive off the sputtering stops and I've onl seen that message this one time?

New to the site found a lot of helpful info on here but have my own problem now and hoping to find some help. Today I went on a two hr road trip and when I arrived we stopped and got something to eat. When I started the car to leave it was idling rough then put it in reverse and it stalled then...
