Does the front end have shocks and struts? How dificult to install. Any special tools needed?

brake pads are good and the rotors are ok. not excellent but ok. could it be something to do with the calipers???

the ball joints seem to be fine. the noise stops when i hit the brakes. and if it were a ball joint that wouldnt happen would it???

Ok.... bought my lincoln LS in may of 2012. It was in good shape. I had inner and outer tie rods put on it, new breaks ,tires and ect.... car drove great ,tight steering and excellent feel to the car. in october i started to notice a floating feeling when driving and could feel the car sway...
